Mark Pilgram lists desktop RSS readers, but forgot one: Gnus. I've been using the nnrss backend for almost a week and, despite a few shortcomings, I'm really beginning to like it. I never really understood what the brouhaha about RSS was until now — an aggregator makes me that much more productive at reading — especially since my aggregator is in my mail reader.
